French Vichy Croix de Guerre.
This Vichy version of the famous Croix de Guerre was established by Marshall petain subsequent to the Fall of France. It is similar to the previous versions of the Croix de Guerre but has a differenet ribbon and also bears date combinations on the reverse that do not occur on non Vichy awards.
The examples offered are die struck in bronze and are supplied with a length of ribbon.
It cannot be guaranteed that you will receive the dates seen on the illustration but you will certainly receive a correct Vichy issue cross. If the specific dates are of great importance to you please send an email stating this when you order and will will do our utmost to supply them. We currently have 1941-43 and 1939-41
