French WWII 1943 Croix de Guerre with Flags - Giraud type.

This pattern of the Croix de Guerre is unusual in as much as it has two crossed flags on the obverse instead of the usual head of the Republic. The reverse is dated 1943. This full size award is die struck in bronze and has a nicely toned finish. It is complete with a length of the correct ribbon.
