WWII Italy Star.

Awarded to members of all services who served during the Italian campaign. Of 1943 to 1945. From the landings in Sicily and subsequently the battles at Anzio and Monte Cassino through to the end of hostilities.
The Italy star was of a series of British medals issued to servicemen for service in the Second World War. Die struck in brass with a pleasing slightly toned finish. Complete with a length of the correct woven ribbon.
