This superb quality case was designed for the Gold grade of the Army Close Combat Clasp but will accommodate any grade of this award. This black leatherette covered, hand made, wooden case is lined in black velvet with a sculpted recess for the award. The lid is lined in ivory silk. Complete with brass hinge and catch.
The case measures 135mm x 75mm.
The German Third Reich presentation cases and boxes offered by the Regalia Specialist are all hand made in Europe. Traditional manufacturing techniques are employed replicating the feel and finish of the original pieces as closely as possible. Often old reclaimed materials and fittings are used which are no longer available today. For this reason the cases may occasionally have very minor blemishes. Please also consider that the pin length and catch location on original badges varies from badge to badge so sometimes it may be necessary to make very minor adjustments to the pin recess in a case in order to make a particular badge fit perfectly.
