This ORIGINAL quality version of the Luftwaffe Pilot Observer badge is die struck from original dies. Heavy brass riveted construction with silvered eagle and gilt wreath. Maker's mark 'B&NL' on the reverse. Correct cut out legs and feet on the eagle as found on the Pilot-Observer badge. Nice domed rivets and hand fabricated original style needle pin with nice extruded style hinge.
