This large dark blue leatherette covered case is considerably larger than that of the Knights Cross of the Iron cross case (exact measurement 140 x 180mm) . It is lined in velvet and is fitted to take the both type of the Knights Cross of the War Merit Cross (with or without swords) .and has a separate compartment for the ribbon. Complete with brass hinge and catch.CASE ONLY- AWARD IS NOT INCLUDED.
NB- Case is lighter blue than appears in the picture
The German Third Reich presentation cases and boxes offered by the Regalia Specialist are all hand made in Europe. Traditional manufacturing techniques are employed replicating the feel and finish of the original pieces as closely as possible. Often old reclaimed materials and fittings are used which are no longer available today. For this reason the cases may occasionally have very minor blemishes.
