Instituted by Gauleiter Josef Terboven in 1935 in commemoration of the 10th Anniversary of the founding of the Gau, Awarded for service during the 'Time of Struggle'.
This is the miniature version of the award worn on civilian clothes. It is die struck in brass with a gold plated finish.. Dimensions 42mm x 20mm.
