LARGE 82mm British Army Irish Guards Metal Badge in heavily tarnished brass.

This large and attractive badge is stamped out of heavy gauge brass. It has been in storage for some time and is therefore heavily oxidised - please see the photographs. It will, with a little effort, clean up beautifully (please see our other listing for the polished version to see what is achievable).

The star measures 82mm x 82mm tip to tip, and is fitted with two copper lugs.

We purchased these badges from a factory in Birmingham, where they have been stored for several years. They may possibly be pouch or pagri badges.
