The Luftwaffe Glider Pilots badge was awarded to qualified Glider Pilots of the German Airforce. Introduced in 1940, the Air Gunners badge was worn by all types of air gunners other than wireless-operator air gunners.
A good quality die-cast late war style zinc piece with a really nice aged finish. 2 piece rivetted construction. With makers mark 'SBW' and original late style needle pin. A really authentic looking badge.
