Parachute Regiment Officer's beret badge. Post 1952.

Parachute Regiment Officer's beret badge. Post 1952.

A high quality full size beret badge as worn on the famous maroon beret by Officers of this elite British Airborne regiment. This insignia appears to be made from alloy with some silver content. It has a tarnished finish, but because the material is solid and not plated, it can be polished to a very shiny finish if required.

This example bears a Queens crown indicating post 1952 issue and has an attractive toned finish. This would clean off but we have left it 'as is' so you can decide whether you wish to polish the badge.

The reverse is marked 'Sterling' and is fitted with 2 lugs.

The Regalia Specialist offers a fine selection of British Army metal military cap and beret badges from the Great War through to the present day.
