The metal para wings were mounted on these embroidered oval lozenges.

This genuine issue example of the 7th Special Forces Flash is correctly embroidered on a Shliffi machine.  These machines are no longer used to manufacture cloth badges, which are now made on multi head machines.

Please note that this is a GENUINE insignia, not one of the 'knock offs' that you will see advertised elsewhere.
