WW2 British Army Whistle dated 1944 Hudson & Co Acme Model No 15 The Metropolitan.

This is a reproduction WWII 'Number 15' ACME whistle made by J Hudson & Co Birmingham. The whistle is suitably marked up with 'J HUDSON & Co BIRMINGHAM' and the Date 1944.

Used by the Infantry and Artillery for signalling purposes. This is a well built and loud whistle

This whistle is made by the same company that made the original whistles, in the same factory and using the same equipment. It is approx 80mm long x 17mm and made from Nickel plated brass which has a very slightly distressed finish. It is a traditional and solid made collectors whistle.
