The Eastern Peoples or Ostvolk Decorations were instituted to reward acts of bravery performed by the non German volunteers in the Army and Waffen S.S. including the Cossacks of the Russian Liberation Army. They were the equivalent of the Iron Cross and were highly prized. This fine quality example is made from an original stamping and has an original flat pin fitting.

With a nice semi matt gilt finish.
