Civil Defence or 'Luftshutz' Decoration. 1st Class Cross in Gilt.
Instituted on 30th January 1938 to reward exceptional services in the cause of the Third Reichs air defences and air raid precautions. A nice original quality example of this award. Finished in matt gilt. Supplied with the unique two part suspension. Complete with folded ribbon which has the correct brass brooch pin stitched at the top.
