The European campaign included the Normandy Landings.

This genuine full size medal ribbon bar is of WWII vintage, identifiable by the brooch pin fitting.

This example is fitted with a bronze arrowhead denoting an Airborne landing or Amphibious assault.

Unusually, the arrowhead is laid on its side.
