Deluxe presentation case for the Imperial German WWI Blue Max Pour le Merite with GODET mark
This exceptional quality hand made, wooden case is covered in peacock feather patterned leatherette and is foil blocked on the lid with bears a gilt representation of the award . The case is lined in burgundy velvet with a sculpted recess for Blue Max and a separate recess for its ribbon. The lid is lined in burgundy silk and is blocked with the GODET jewelers logo. Complete with brass hinge and catch.

The German presentation cases and boxes offered by the Regalia Specialist are all hand made in Europe. Traditional manufacturing techniques are employed replicating the feel and finish of the original pieces as closely as possible. Often old reclaimed materials and fittings are used which are no longer available today. For this reason the cases may occasionally have very minor blemishes.
