100% ORIGINAL WW1 Iron Cross 2nd Class Eisernes Kreuz.

The Iron Cross was established by King Friedrich Wilhelm III of Prussia on 17th March 1813 during the Napoleonic Wars. It was re established in 1870 and subsequently in 1914 upon the outbreak of WWI.

This original issue example of the 2nd Class Iron Cross is of 3 piece construction having and Iron Centre and silver locket syle frame. The suspension ring is stamped with a makers mark. It is in fine condition but inevitably, because of the age of this medal, the silver frame is a little tarnished and the centre, although having all its paint, has one or 2 very minor blemishes. It is supplied with a 15cm length of brand new ribbon.

You may not receive the actual item pictured bbut the item you receive will be at least a nice as the medal in the picture if not in even better condition.

A nice opportunity to obtain a genuine example of this iconic award.
