Imperial German Prussian Knights Cross of the House Order of Hohenzollern.
Originally created in 1841 to reward outstanding merit, the version with swords was awarded to military Officers during WWI. It ranked above the Iron Cross and was a pre requisite for the award of the Pour Le Merite. This example of the Knights Cross grade with swords. Is die struck and finished in enamel and gold plate. Supplied complete with a length of the correct ribbon.
