Imperial German WWI Pilot's metal breast badge 1914-18 Bavarian Issue SUPERIOR QUALITY.
Awarded to qualified Bavarian German pilots during WWI. This distinctive version of this pilots badge has the Bavarian type crown, instead of the usual Prussian crown on the Prussian issue badges.
We have a few of these really nice quality finely detailed badges, made some time ago but not original WWI issue. Die struck with a nice silver plated finish and featuring the distinctive Bavian style crown, which is cut out. The reverse fitted with correct German style pin and hook fitting. In very nice almost un-issued condition with just a little toning in the recesses.
These full size awards measure 74mm x 45mm.
