WWI German Army Airship honour badge- Full size official replacement.

This attractive badge was instituted to reward service on German Army airships during WWI.

This is an really nice old German made example,we think, dating from the 1950's to'70s when it was possible for veterans to purchase replacements for their original badges from the manufacturers. Please note the typical pin used by German manufacturers from the late 50's through to the end of the century. Made in solid brass and weighing in at 40 grams- this beautiful quality badge has a silvered finish with just a little tarnishing.
