German WWII Kriegsmarine combat badge and award box. For SCHWERIN badges.
This case will accommodate most of the Schwerin Naval badges or any Schwerin pin back award of a similar size and fitted with a vertical pin. A fine quality wooden case covered in dark blue leatherette. The lid is lined in off white sile blocked 'Schwerin Berlin 68' in gold foil. The base pad is covered in purple velvet and has a pin recess measuring approximately 50mm in length.
The case measures 90 x 75mm.

The German Third Reich presentation cases and boxes offered by the Regalia Specialist are all hand made in Europe. Traditional manufacturing techniques are employed replicating the feel and finish of the original pieces as closely as possible. Often old reclaimed materials and fittings are used which are no longer available today. For this reason the cases may occasionally have very minor blemishes. Please also consider that the pin length and catch location on original badges varies from badge to badge so sometimes it may be necessary to make very minor adjustments to the pin recess in a case in order to make a particular badge fit perfectly.
