WW2 German Luftwaffe Ground Assault Badge (Erdkampf Abzeichen der Luftwaffe). Mid War type.
The Ground Assault badge was instituted in 1942 and awarded for participation in three separate combat engagements. An excellent quality die cast piece. SILVERED finish finish with blackened centre. With correct needle pin. A nice mid War example of the Ground Combat Badge.
