WW2 German Luftwaffe Paratrooper's metal qualification badge. (Fallschirmschützenabzeichen der Luftwaffe). SUPERIOR QUALITY MID WAR TYPE EXCEPTIONAL AGED FINISH

This jump badge was awarded to qualifying parachutists or Fallschirmjager of the German Airforce. First established by order of Hermann Göring on November 5, 1936. It was awarded after completion of parachute training and the required number of jumps.

A good quality die-cast mid war style zinc piece with a really nice slightly aged finish. With makers mark 'A' for Assmann & Sohn and original style steel needle pin. A really authentic looking badge.
