German WW2 Russian Front Medal or Medal for the Winter War in the East (Ostmedaille - Medaille Winterschlacht im Osten )
Awarded for service on the notorious Russian front and was also know as 'The Frozen meat Order'. This piece has the correct two tone finish, with an chemically blackened centre and silver finish to edge and on helmet. Slightly tarnished.
Supplied with a length of the correct ribbon which is an improved type slightly darker than the ribbon used in the photos of the medal. See picture number 4.
