German Army 'Gebirgsjager' enlisted man's metal edelweiss badge- Nickel and brass. Sew on type with with holes.

Worn by mountain troops on the 'Bergmutze'. A two piece badge representing an edelweiss flower in antiqued nickel with a gilt stamen. This version is drilled with holes to enable the insignia to be stitched onto the bergmutze.
