This stickpin worn by members of the famous German Luftwaffe fighter squadron is fully enameled with a silvered finish. The insignia itself measures about 16 x 18mm and has a knurled stickpin fitting about 45mm in length
We have purchased a small quantity of these badges. They are all slightly tarnished. The amount of tarnishing varies a little from badge to badge but will easily clean off if required. The enamel is all intact. The reverse is impressed with a maker's or copyright mark.
The Third Reich period spawned several new political and pseudo-political organizations. Each had its own insignia and membership badge or stickpin. Similarly there were pins, such as the insignia offered here, for military units and formations.
