S.S. Honour Ring of SEPP DIETRICH.
Sometimes, incorrectly, called the 'Wedding Ring', this ring was given by Heinrich Himmler as an award to S.S. Officers in recognition of exceptional or long service. This is an exact copy of the ring bestowed upon Sepp Dietrich. A fine quality and nicely detailed silver example of this much sought after and coveted ring. Complete with Himmler signature engraved on the inside of the shank together with Dietrichs name and date of bestowal. This ring has a pleasing polished antique silver finish. The inside of the shank has also been polished to enable the ring to be worn in comfort. Approximately size R (US 8.5). It is not available in different sizes being sold as an historical artifact.
There were many attractive official and unofficial rings worn by German military and political personnel during the Third Reich period. Many were manufactured and worn un-officially as marks of honour or even as unofficial decorations commemorating events or service.
