We believe that this copy of the South African version of the Inter-allied Victory medal created to commemorate the Great War is the best quality available on the market today. It is die struck from bronze matt gilt finish. The suspension ring is soldered closed, as per the original. The award is supplied with a length of the distinctive rainbow ribbon from which the Allied Victory medals were suspended (our ribbon has a nice graduation of colours unlike most replacement ribbon).
Please note this medal differs from the English version in as much as it has a bi-lingual inscription on the reverse (English and Afrikaans).
