Italian Fascist Commemorative Medal of the 29th Waffen S.S. Superior quality in solid bronze.

Grenadier Division 'Italien'. This unit, also known as the Legione SS Italiana, came into being at the end of 1944. Many of its members were recruited into the German Waffen S.S. from the Milizia Armata, an Italian Fascist security unit.
This commemorative medal is cast from solid brass and has an very striking design which incorporates the Italian S.S. style eagle together with the S.S. runes. Complete with a length fascist tricolore ribbon.
