1914 - 1918 French Army WWI Metz Marshal Foch Lafayette medal with ribbon.

On August 7, 1920, 235 delegates from the order of the Knights of Columbus, with the Knight headed Supreme James Flaherty, left New York aboard the french ship Leopoldina. Their pilgrimage led them to Metz where they were greeted by Marshal Foch in a city decked in the colours of the United States.


This attractive bronze medal measures 36mm x 57mm. It is supplied on a length of ribbon.
