British WWII Air Ministry issue Royal Air Force R.A.F. ditching whistle.

Worn by Royal Air Force (R.A.F.) bomber and fighter aircrew in WW2 for use when downed. The classic snail whistle often seen hanging from the 1941 pattern Mae West or aircrew blouse. This is the authentic and official English made 'Acme Thunderer' . A fine quality reproduction fully functional whistle (complete with pea!) marked with the correct air ministry stamp and ordinance number. A totally authentic item with a bright finish.
