The Krim Battle or Campaign Shield was instituted 25th July 1942 and awarded to troops operational in the Crimea and Black Sea area of Russia. Issued to members of the Army (Heer), Luftwaffe, Kriegsmarine and S.S.
Bronze finish. Complete with steel backing plate.

This original quality example is die struck using the correct material from old tools and dies. It is attached to the backing plate by means of 4 soldered prongs . The award has really authentic and pleasing aged and distressed finish.
