ASSMANN MARKED SUPERIOR QUALITY LATE WAR TYPE WITH EXCEPTIONAL AGED FINISH
This jump badge was awarded to qualifying parachutists or Fallschirmjager of the German Airforce. First established by order of Hermann Göring on November 5, 1936. It was awarded after completion of parachute training and the required number of jumps.
A good quality die-cast late war style zinc piece with a really nice aged finish. 2 piece rivteted construction. With makers mark 'A' for Assmann & Sohn and original late style steel needle pin. A really authentic looking badge.
