WW2 Italian ANTI -fascist GARIBALDI Brigade Partisan medal.

This bronze medal was awarded to members of the anti-fascist partisans who operated in Northern Italy between 1943 & 1945.

The design of the award is based on the American Bronze Star as is the ribbon. It is assumed that an modified example of the American award was used as the master.

A full size medal suspended from a short brand new length of the correct ribbon.
