Luftwaffe Paratroopers Combat Clasp.

This interesting badge was designed and produced late in WWII as a close combat award exclusively for Paratroopers. It appears never to have been issued but the same design, without the swastika, was later used by the West German Army for its Paratrooper badge. The example offered is die struck from Aluminium and has inset steel pins.
The reverse is marked with the makers logo of Assman and Sohn of Luedenscheid.
