This exceptional quality silk woven or 'Be-vo' version is woven in the correct fine aluminium wire on a field grey backing.

German Wehrmacht WWII officers military cloth uniform insignias were either woven, machine embroidered or hand embroidered. The silk woven insignias tended to be worn on the M1943 cap or sidecap and also on the soft crusher visor cap.
