WW2 USAF B-17 Flying Fortress bomber Boeing control yoke metal hub
These "horn buttons" were held in place on top of the B17 control yokes with four individual steel spring fingers, over which the cap was snapped into place.
This accurate and nicely executed aftermarket example is just like the original yoke hubs used on the Flying Fortress B-17s that flew bombing missions from England during WWII, as part of the 8th Airforce.
It measures 80mm in diameter and is stamped from satin finished metal with a black finish.
