1939 Iron Cross 1st Class. Nickel silver alloy.
The most famous of all WWII German medals and decorations.
This example of the 1st Class cross is die struck in one piece from Nickel silver. It has a black painted centre and a slightly polished nickel silver finish. Reverse is fitted with a flat pin that is stamped with the makers code number
