This extremely heavy non portable award was authorised by Adolf Hitler in 1937 to recognise those who had made donations of horse and equestrian facilities to the National Socialist Riding Corps of th S.A. This double sided plaque measures 115mm x 120mm and is cast in solid metal with a blackened finish. The design of the obverse incorporates the effigy of a thoroughbred horse together with a large eagle and swastika framed within an oakleaf wreath. The reverse bears an inscription in German, which translates as 'For merit in the pre-military training of young German riders' above an S.A. rune symbol.

The German Third Reich plaques and non portable awards offered by the Regalia Specialist are made to the most exacting standards whilst still providing excellent value for money. In order to achieve the best possible results traditional European manufacturing techniques are employed replicating the feel and finish of the Third Reich pieces as closely as possible even down to including makers marks if appropriate.
