This award was instituted on 16th March 1935 and bestowed after 18 years service in Armed forces. This example is complete with the Army eagle device on the ribbon denoting service in the Army. Finished in silver plate and supplied complete with a length of cornflower blue ribbon together with the Army metal eagle ribbon device
