German Mothers Cross in Gold 2nd pattern.
This 'Fuhrergeschenk' or 'gift of the Fuhrer' was bestowed on mothers of eight or more children. With inscription '16. Dezember 1938' on reverse. Enameled in blue, black and white. Supplied with 12"/30cm of the correct narrow neck ribbon.
