This cream paper envelope is ideal for combat badges and German medals. It measures 100mm x 58mm. The paper used for this particular envelope is the correct old style ersatz type paper which has flecks and imperfections typical of those found on WWII manufacture envelopes. Various German awards including medals and combat awards were issued in these envelopes . It has the LDO motif printed on the front. The LDO or Leistungsgemeinschaft der deutschen Ordenhersteller was the quality control organization regulating retailers of orders and decorations.
