Presentation case for the Iron Cross 2nd Class Ribbon cross.
This black leatherette covered, hand made, wooden case is lined in cream velvet with a sculpted recess for the award and a separate recess for the ribbon. The lid is lined in ivory silk. It would accommodate either WW1 or WW2 Iron Cross awards. Complete with brass hinge and catch.
The case measures 135mm x 75mm.
The German presentation cases and boxes offered by the Regalia Specialist are all hand made in Europe. Traditional manufacturing techniques are employed replicating the feel and finish of the original pieces as closely as possible. Often old reclaimed materials and fittings are used which are no longer available today. For this reason the cases may occasionally have very minor blemishes.
