This scarce and attractive variation of the S.A Sports badge was insituted in 1943. This example is zinc with a late war lacquered 'Brennlack' finish. Complete with German style pin and maker's code 'M1-52' of Deschler & Sohne on the reverse (Deschler were the only maker's of this award).
