This belt is faced in fine woven aluminum wire with alternating horizontal green and silver/aluminum stripes along with correct vertical "keepers" . It is lined in dark green velvet with a brown leather inner adjustment tab. One end of the belt is folded over and machine stitched to secure the buckle catch.. The aluminum buckle is superbly crafted and authentic down to the finest detail.
Officers were authorized to wear the brocade belt with the parade dress uniform, when reporting to a new unit, with the service dress uniform when full decorations were ordered, at formal occasions and with the formal dress uniform at ceremonial occasions.
