Army metal breast eagle

German Army or Heer metal breast eagle.

Worn on the right breast of the tropical tunic, this large eagle is die struck in solid brass and finished in heavy semi matt silver plate. The makers mark 'A' (Assman & Sohn) is on the reverse. With original style pin back fitting.

The Third Reich German military Wehrmacht metal uniform badges offered by The Regalia Specialist are either die struck pieces in brass or nickel or, if indicated, die cast late war style insignias in zinc. Many are manufactured in Europe using original WWII tools and dies that were obtained from the factories in Germany during the 1980's . Where possible, traditional manufacturing techniques that were employed during the Third Reich are replicated.
