Republic of Cuba Communist Cuban Army Guards Badge

A rare opportunity to obtain a GENUINE piece of Cuban militaria.  This breast badge, worn by the elite Cuban Guards Unit, is modelled on the Russian Red Army Guards insignia and was actually made for the Cubans in the Soviet Union.

This attractive insignia, which measures 50mm x 35mm, is enamelled in white, blue and red and has a gilt finish.  It has a screw back fitting typically found on Russian insignias.

In in extremely fine condition with just some light age related blemishes on the white enamel.
