The Combined Pilot Observer aviator's award was bestowed on German Airforce Pilots who had held both Pilot's and Observer's certificates for at least one year. Mid war type in zinc. Correct two piece riveted construction with semi matt silver wreath and blackened gunmetal eagle.
A good quality die-cast late war style zinc piece with a really nice aged finish. 2 piece rivetted construction. With makers mark 'A' for Assmann & Sohn and original late style needle pin. A really authentic looking badge.
