Zeppelin 'Nord u Sud Amerika Jubilaumsfahrt 1933' enamel commemorative badge
Struck to commemorate the anniversary of the Zeppelin company and the associated flight of the Graf Zeppelin from Germany to the Americas. This attractive badge, measuring 49mm x 36mm, is fully enameled with an antique silvered finish. The reverse is maker marked and fitted with the correct German style brooch pin. It is believed that these insignias may have been given to crew or other airship staff and the colour of the insignia may represent a different speciality or position in the company.
