United States U.S. ARMY Officers Cap badge WWII Style. Old finish.

This reproduction example of the WWII Style US Army Officers cap badge is made in white metal and has a gold lacquered finish.  It is of the quite distinctive WWII Style which differs somewhat from the style used today.

The lacquered gold finish is wearing off slightly in places - please see photographs.
The insignia measures 64mm x 60mm and has a screw back fitting.
